04/11/09. The other day when we said goodbye to Carolina at the front desk, we realized that it was for the last time, as we will be back on 27 December but to our little house in Rocha!!
Gustavo, we want to thank you in particular and of course all the incredible staff at the AWA for making us feel so good and so comfortable this whole year.
The hotel has become a very special place for us, it was spectacular to return from our trips to Buenos Aires, or to come back exhausted after being at the site all day in Rocha and to find the comfort of the room and the bed with those incredible sheets.
Waking up there and having a great breakfast, served by the girls with such goodwill, gave us all the energy we needed to face the problems at the site.
Congratulations for what you have achieved and for the team of young people that you have trained so well.

We have spent the past year staying at this lovely hotel. Today we are going to our own home, and we feel a sweet sorrow because we shall not be seeing you every weekend any more.
I want to say that you are the BEST thing about the hotel: your human quality and warmth, which make the guests feel so much at home, and want to return.
Starting with friendly and charming Raquel and the ever-efficient Leandro; Mabel who spoilt me all year round with her scones and charm; Lucía, a love; Melissa, Nico, lovely Andrea, dear Fernando, Matías and all those who, like Carolina, welcome us gladly and with such good vibes.
Keep it up, because in addition to the hotel's charm, ALL OF YOU, including those I haven't named, are the ones who make this hotel the BEST.
Many thanks for having helped us to spend a few delicious months. I shall always carry you in my heart and I am taking hotel brochures to several friends of mine who own travel agencies, you are the best advertisement because "PEOPLE" are the greatest value in this competitive and material world.
